Your insurance company requires more information about your home as part of the underwriting process. To give homeowners flexibility and privacy they are offering the opportunity to complete your own underwriting inspection that can be completed in less than 15 minutes. The process will be explained step-by-step in the app, but it typically requires a set of photos of the outside of your home (between 8-12) as well as some additional details for the inside depending on your policy.

If your internet or cellular signal does not reach outdoors, you can take exterior photos on your phone's camera and save to your camera roll, then upload them into the app when you're done using the "Upload Photo" option. Make sure you reference the entire list of exterior photos needed before you start to ensure you capture everything needed, and check each photo for instructions from your carrier by clicking into it and selecting either upload or take photo.

If you already have a set of photos of your home you can check the app to see if they are sufficient for what your carrier is asking for for your inspection - any photos that are required must be included in your inspection.
